The Aqua Verde project was centered around enhancing the home’s relationship to Lake Austin, improving its flow, and introducing modern design elements that reflect the homeowners’ contemporary style. The project involved a significant transformation of both the exterior and interior spaces, creating a more open, light-filled environment while maximizing the stunning views of the lake. The home was completely reimagined by our architects to embrace a more modern architectural style while maintaining a warm, inviting atmosphere. The existing stone cladding was removed and replaced with stucco, complemented by a crisp white paint finish. A taller, more dramatic gable was added to the front and rear porches, increasing both the visual appeal and the connection to the sky and lake views beyond.

We redesigned the roof framing to raise the ceiling height, creating an airy and expansive feeling throughout the home. New black-framed windows and steel doors were installed throughout the house to provide both aesthetic appeal and greater energy efficiency. These updated elements allow for unobstructed views of the lake while contributing to the home's modern look. We removed the arches across the back porch and replaced them with clean, modern lines.

The home’s garage was reimagined with a new modern double garage door, and we gave the backyard a complete overhaul to better connect the home to its surroundings, including a new pool and a reconfigured outdoor space ideal for entertaining. The kitchen was completely redesigned with modern finishes and an open layout that flows effortlessly into the common areas. This new space serves as the ideal hub for family activities, allowing for easy supervision of daily tasks while enjoying views of the lake. We updated the finishes in all bathrooms to create a fresh, modern feel. In the master bath, we removed outdated elements and introduced a luxurious, open-plan design that includes one large shower and a long, double vanity. Floating vanities and clean lines create a sense of sophistication and simplicity. A new electric fireplace was installed with a plaster finish, adding warmth and ambiance to the living room while maintaining the clean, minimal aesthetic of the space. The bathroom finishes were updated to reflect the overall modern aesthetic, creating a more luxurious, cohesive atmosphere throughout the home.

We strategically placed large windows, pivot doors, and open spaces to encourage natural light and a constant connection to the outdoors. Whether inside or out, the remodeled spaces work together to provide a serene and contemporary lifestyle.
